With this we will round out the bottom half of my rankings and move into the top half next time.
25. Americone Dream: This flavor inspired by Stephen Colbert was much better than I anticipated. Vanilla Ice Cream with a Caramel Swirl and fudge covered waffle cone pieces. The Caramel Swirl pushes this one higher as it was delicious, as are all the Ben and Jerrys Flavors that incorporate a caramel Swirl. I am not a fan of waffle cones at all so I thought Id hate this one but the fudge coating made me enjoy it enough to push it this high in the ranking.
24. Mint Chocolate Cookie: Mint chocolate chip is probably my favorite "classic" ice cream flavor. Unfortunately Ben and Jerrys doesnt offer it, instead incorporating cookie instead of chocolate chips. The cookies are pretty good, but the mint flavor is way to subtle, and part of the fun of mint flavors is the green color, which this flavor lacks.
23. Cake Batter: I really wanted this flavor to be amazing, but all it is is cake batter ice cream with chocolate icing swirl. The batter flavor was too subtle, and I would have preffered vanilla icing swirl and/or cake pieces within the ice cream. One of those two things would have improved this flavor significantally.
22. Strawberry Cheesecake: The third of four cheesecake flavors, only one left now. The Graham cracker swirl in this one is actually too potent, the exact opposite of my gripe from the Blueberry cheesecake flavor. Somewhere in the middle between those two would be optimal, and the number one cheesecake flavor on this countdown does that. The strawberry flavor is great, but the actual strawberry pieces are hard to eat frozen, like nearly impossible, ruining it a bit.
21. Rockin Blondies: A new flavor for 2013, vanilla ice cream with blondie brownies and toffee pieces. This flavor replaces one of my favorites, coming up later in the countdown, and it was comparably disappointing. Blondie brownies are pretty bland when incorporated in ice cream, and the toffee pieces are way to subtle compared to another flavor that incorporates them coming up later on the countdown.
